Interior Design Consulting by Stefanie Westerberg

Stefanie has always had a passion for decorating since youth. As a child she would re-arrange her room, refurbish garage sale find furnishings, repaint her room, etc. This led to job shadowing of Interior Designers throughout her high school years. Upon completion of high school, she had no doubts in her mind that she wanted to work in Interior Design. BCIT’s Interior Design Program provided her with the history, theory, knowledge and practical application of Interior Design to bolster her passion with the actual tools necessary to bring beauty to each space.

Stefanie has a passion for creating beautiful spaces and providing happiness and satisfaction to her clients. She is sensitive to each client’s specific tastes and widely varying budget requirements. This combined with Stefanie‘s ability to be “practically creative”, using her skills to think outside the box to create unique spaces that fit in budget, has been noted as a great “stress-reliever” for her clients.

The resulting spaces created by her service are naturally achieved; a flattering representation of her client’s tastes as they evolved over time, throughout ones life and travels.

  • Completed Management Certificate in Interior Design from BCIT.
  • Worked for a kitchen cabinetry company creating layouts and designs of customized kitchens and bathrooms.
  • Worked for an architectural and interior design firm where her knowledge and skills were put to use on client consults, color schemes, material selections, color renderings, lighting layouts,space planning, autoCAD drawings, etc.
  • Created La Mode Design and have provided interior design consulting to both the Commercial and Residential Sector through both new builds and numerous renovations.
